THE FOUR SEASONS - "THREE COUPLES. FOUR TRIPS. A LOT TO UNPACK."

Not to be confused by the hotel or landscaping company, this high-concept series based on the original Alan Alda movie of the same name was beautifully written and showrun by Tina Fey, Lang Fisher, and Tracey Wigfield. A love letter to relationship and friendship comedies of the past, we took an elevated yet relatable approach to marketing this cozy story about the humor and emotional shifts of long-term relationships both romantic and platonic.

Teaser

Our teaser intro’ed the high concept premise of four trips over time with four couples of friends using the iconic Vivaldi score as a nod for original film fans.

Trailer

We expanded on the story of the couples and their specific dynamics all set to a custom classical cover of Blister In The Sun approved by the band themselves. For those who have seen the show, it’s the top song on the Violent Femmes record Nick buys for Kate in their trip to down memory lane in their old college town.

Art Suite

Two agencies couldn’t crack the key art direction. I pitched a direct homage to the original Alan Alda film and designed the original comp that showrunners selected. We also created specific sequential boards for each couple. The design was dynamic in motion and easily modifiable for different OOH and digital formats.

Social

We licensed the original film to do side-by-side comparisons of the original film and series, which Alan Alda loved and reposted. We captured content with the cast as friendship dynamic, which shone on and offscreen. We leveraged simple hilarious clips to promote the series on Tiktok, and announced a new trip for S2. We were also able to use Blister In The Sun across social in all forms.
