S2 ACTION STuntS
For the second seasons of The Night Agent and The Recruit, I was tasked with making a splash for both titles after a big 2 year gap between launches.
Roles: Client (Campaign Lead), Conceptor & Script Writer (Netflix is Blowing Up, Night Agent Blimp Jump)
Results: Silver Clio Award, Night Agent renewed for S2 & S3, big social lift for Back in Action, biggest social asset for all three titles.
Stunt #1 - Netflix Is Blowing Up
In a first of it’s kind collaboration with world-famous street artist Vhils, we practically created portraits of Netflix’s biggest action stars using real explosives to promote Back In Action, The Night Agent, and The Recruit. We got Noah Centineo to fly all the way to Portugal to push the button. I wrote this script and produced the shoot. All the cast posted the asset. It was the most viewed social asset of all three campaigns and won a silver Clio award for best promo.
Stunt #2 - NFL Blimp Jump
Netflix was hosting two NFL games on Christmas Day and had secured a blimp to celebrate it. The entire company brainstormed about what to do with it, and my idea to yeet the star out of it live to release the S2 trailer was the winner. The only problems: our blimp wasn’t ready, our star refused to do it unless he did it for real (he hasn’t renewed his license either) and everyone was nervous. We ended up borrowing a blimp, jumping with Gabriel Basso 11 times, and insuring everything out the wazoo.

The Netflix Live marketing team slacked everyone in the organization. My idea to yeet Gabe out of the blimp ultimately won. Jean still owes me Rams tickets.
In addition to the stunts, I led the campaign for The Recruit S2 and co-led the campaign for The Night Agent S2. For Recruit, we created a Korean cover of Green Day’s American Idiot to celebrate the mission setting. For Night Agent, we used the iconic phone to invite fans to answer the call again for Netflix’s most popular action series.

The Night Agent x The Recruit Crossover Content
With The Recruit launching a week after The Night Agent, I pitched the idea of pairing Noah & Gabriel together for all their content days. Noah was huge on social and helped lift the social profile of Gabriel for a younger audience. Including Noah also gave the paired content more eyeballs globally. They did their press tour together, social capture, and became besties.
