Venmo legal told us we couldn't use their name as a verb, but everyone does. We said, "blank it" with a campaign that teased verb status to those in the know and grabbed n00bs' attention in college towns across the country. I lead this three-round pitch to beat W+K, Preacher, & Goodby.

We used the app's new scan + pay function to Venmo people money back for beer pitchers and game day seats in the most fun referral program ever. The more you Venmo friends, the more cash you unlock together.
Following the teaser campaign, we launched an Instagram campaign to celebrate Venmo memos, despite our blissful ignorance of users' content.
