We brought the high-seas adventure to life with inspiring custom VO from Captain Crow (Jared Harris) that invites everyone to join the search beyond the map.

Beyond The Map Treasure Hunt

We dropped clues for our main teaser the day before launch with a map hiding something big. If you looked closely, you could find a URL to www.SeaBeastsAreReal.com that linked to an unlisted Youtube Clip, rewarding those brave enough to seek it out with a glimpse o’ the beast.

Sea Beast Sightings IRL

We partnered with water-based influencers around the world to stage sea beast sightings using rotoscoped footage of our animated monsters. Surfers, scuba divers and National Geographic photographers all spotted a different creature. We even staged giant real monster sightings in the Venice Beach, Milan and Colombia.

We staged sightings around the world IRL and on water-based influencer channels from aquarium penguin cams to surfers to sailors to National Geographic scuba divers.

Monstrous Key Art & OOH

We wanted the monsters to come off the page and appear uncontainable in art.
